Accommodation will automatically be cancelled if the deposit is not received by the due date.
Deposits are not refundable in the event of non-arrival.
Short Term Stays (1 to 3 nights)
50% Deposit must be made upfront within 24 hours for your booking to be confirmed.
If bookings are cancelled less than 10 days prior to arrival, any prepayment is forfeited.
Between 10-14 days prior, 75% is forfeited
Between 14-21 days prior, 50% is forfeited
Between 21-28 days prior, 25% is forfeited.
Long Term Stays (4 nights or more)
Full payment must be made upfront within 24 hours for your booking to be confirmed.
Cancellations must be made more than 14 days prior to your date of arrival for a 50% refund. If cancelled within the 14-day period 75% of your payment will be forfeited.
We accept VISA, Mastercard and EFT’s.
Credit Card Acquiring and Security
Credit card transactions will be acquired for Royal Zulilly via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
All rates include:
- Prices are per person per night.
- A delicious Breakfast each morning.
- For Self-Catering option, Breakfast are excluded.
Check In / Check Out
We ask that guests check-in from 2pm – 6pm, check-out is at 11.00 am.
If arrival is expected to be EARLIER than 2pm or LATER than 6pm please advise us when booking.
Any extras or services taken during your stay is payable on departure.
Change of Room Clause
In any circumstances that are beyond our control we are unable to provide you with the accommodation you have booked we reserve the right to place you in an alternative suitable accommodation.
For security reasons only registered guests are allowed on the property, unless pre authorisation is obtained. No persons other than those quoted for and booked are permitted to share the accommodation. For visitor authorisation, please contact Elsie.
All children of all ages are welcome.
Children from 12 years and older are considered adults and will have to take their own room at the applicable rate.
Children younger than 12 years old may share with their parents limited to the Royal Palm Luxury Suite or the Milkwood Suite and Strelitzia Room who is adjoining rooms. Driftwood 2-Room Apartment Suite are suitable for families.
Children sharing with their parents will be charged R275 per child per night (net rate).
No pets allowed.
Damages and Breakages
You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you or any member of your party cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit/ debit card, or we may send you an invoice, for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant. We may make an additional charge if you did not report this.
Disability and Accessibility
Royal Zulilly is the perfect base for your stay in Ballito. Unfortunately, our bedrooms are unsuitable for those who have difficulty with stairs. The Blue Lilly Suite is our only ground floor option.
Royal Zulilly is smoke free…. Smokers are welcome to use the sun lounges by the pool or sit at the Boma.
In no circumstances shall Royal Zulilly or any of its officers or employees be liable to you for any direct, indirect or consequential loss, liability (other than for death or personal injury), claim, costs and expense suffered as a result of your use of their property.
These terms and conditions are governed by South Arican law and you agree that any dispute between us in relation thereto shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the South African Courts.
